the Sickness

Yesterday i started feeling a bit done in. last night i had the chills and today i am layed up in bed feeling sick as a dog; god i hate getting sick. Never the less, as i won't be up loading any drawings, i pieced together this moodboard to show some of the influences on my drawings.

from top left: Japanese watercolours, Gustav Klimt, Tamara de Lempicka, Diego Riviera, Japanese Indian ink illustrations, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, and in the centre, El Greco

the tools

Your only as good as your tools....

These are the toys I've pretty much stuck to throughout: 2 mechanical pencils; 9mm Pentel P209 and 5mm Pentel P205. Pental HB leads for the 9mm, and Stabilo 2H leads for the 5mm which I picked a whole box up from the op-shop! only ever use Staedler erasers- in this case the Mars plastic shown below.

Paints are an old Windsor and Newton set, again I found them in an op-shop!
